About Us

Dr Sutanu Goswami is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in complex trauma surgery, joint replacement surgery, arthroscopy and spine surgery. He is presently based in Durgapur and jointly owns the Ortho ENT clinic with Dr Tania Mukherjee.

Dr Sutanu Goswami graduated from the prestigious Medical College Kolkata in 2010 with honors in Anatomy and General surgery. He received his MS (orthopedics) degree from the prestigious IPGME&R and SSKM Hospital Kolkata in 2015. Dr Goswami also passed the DNB examination from the NRS hospital Kolkata. Dr Goswami was attached to the Apollo Gleneagles Hospital Kolkata from 2015-18 and The Mission Hospital Durgapur from 2018-19 as Registrar and Associate Consultant respectively. As he is keenly interested in both post graduate and undergraduate teaching, Dr Goswami is also attached as Assistant Professor at the SRIMS and Sanaka Hospital which is a private medical college.
Dr Sutanu Goswami is proficient in trauma management (ATLS qualified) including complex pelvi acetabular injuries. He has also completed over 300 hip and knee joint replacements successfully. His another field of interest is the spine surgery where again he has completed more than 250 successful surgeries. Dr Goswami is a life member of multiple prestigious bodies like IOA, WBOA, ASSI,Indian Arthroplasty association, Indian Arthroscopy society and Spine society West Bengal. He is also member to the internationally acclaimed AO body of orthopedic surgeons based in Switzerland (both trauma and spine wings). To enhance his spine surgery skill he is presently doing the coveted AOSAP 1year Spine fellowship at the Indian Spinal Injuries center New Delhi.
